Then together, alone and with wild abandon, we can openly engage in the forbidden consummation of popular entertainment and high art with athletic dexterity, embracing unfiltered thought and rebellious imagination.
RAW MATERIALS
Choose material which is spiritedly unconventional and hints at something larger than itself. Embrace ideas that are incendiary rather than sedative. Metaphysical not manufactured. Creative not contrived. Your intention is to compel and incite, never pander and placate. Even a negative response, if impassioned, is preferable to indifference. You are not afraid to be counter-cultural. Sometimes revolution is necessary in order to initiate change. The artist must always allow for this provision.
